Business English Paris is a blog about Business English for Business professionals in France and around the world who would like to improve their professional English. It was created in February 2020. As of March 2020 we have had, in addition to our visitors from France, visitors from numerous countries including #Germany, #Belgium, #UAE (United Arab Emirates), #Turkey, #USA (United States), #Spain, #Italy, #Mexico, #Netherlands and #Ukraine. The Editor in Chief of Business English Paris is Marion TD Lewis who is a former NYC attorney, and who founded the auto-entrepreneur ELG Consulting when she arrived in France in order to help professionals with their English so as to empower them to gain a competitive advantage at work.

Business English Paris blog derives from ELG Consulting (www.elg-englishlanguageglobalconsulting.com) and is geared toward French Speaking professionals, though we welcome professionals from all over the world.

Marion's stated aim is to help professionals attain English proficiency by focusing on English Conversation, building vocabulary and helping students refine their presentation skills as well as their written communication in English.

With Business English Paris, she hopes she can deliver Business English vocabulary as well as Business English tips for learners in a fun, non-stressful way. Marion has helped professionals with their Business and Legal English from companies such as RATP, CNRS and Naturgy, among others. She has worked with professionals in various domaines including university professors, university students, communications and marketing directors, lawyers, engineers and human resources managers.

Marion has been a member of the Bars of New York and Georgia in the United States of America. She graduated from New York Law School in 1998 and defied expectations by passing the New York Bar Examination on her first attempt. Marion also holds a Masters Degree in Education from the City University of New York as well as an LLM in International and Comparative Law from St Marys University in San Antonio Texas. She also completed 2 years of a PhD program in International Relations in Paris.

In Paris, Marion teaches Business English and Legal English to professionals, entreprises, students, start ups and businesses both by telephone and/or WhatsApp and face to face. She also manages her brand Jeannie Lacroix, which is an online e-commerce platform geared to busy working professionals as well as Gen Z consumers which can be found at www.jeannielacroix.com

In her free time when she is not blogging on Business English Paris, Marion enjoys photography, writing, painting, cooking and traveling. Below you can find some links to her work and interests.
